Important information
- Soft plastic must be clean, dry and easily scrunched into a ball.
- As a resident you will be able to bring a domestic quantity of accepted soft plastics. We reserve the right to reject excessive quantities and contamination.
- Please note the list of accepted soft plastics is a little different to what your local supermarkets were accepting. Find out what soft plastics you can bring on the day.
- NO squeeze pouches, pet food or meat packaging, compost bags or silver-lined items, such as chip packets.
- The soft plastics will be recycled by Plastic Forest in Albury to produce a number of products such as garden bed kits, garden edging, stakes, fence posts, and wheel stops.
- We also encourage you to read more on soft plastic recycling and the role you play to help reduce single-use plastic.
