Fascinated by fossils?  Come and find evidence of life hidden in the secret stories of our local rocks. Learn how to uncover clues of the lost world of dinosaurs and ancient forests hidden in the headlands.

This day will include a beautiful coastal walk across to Turrimeta Beach, where there is an abundance of fossils waiting to be discovered. Our experts will help with discovery and identification. We will also study some of other amazing range of fossils at the CEC and have the opportunity to create your very own fossil to take home. Awesome fun for our junior geologists!

This event is for children aged 6-12 years.

Kids on the Coast is a Northern Beaches Council school holiday program. 

This program is delivered by qualified education staff.
