The Powerful Owl is a large bird and a top order predator.

It eats other birds such as Magpies and Currawongs and mammals such as Flying Foxes, Ringtail and Brushtail Possums.

These birds mate for life, sometimes over 30 years.

Owls are shy and difficult to see so keep a look out.
