Whilst living and working on the Northern Beaches for over 20 years and volunteering for a range of community activities, Ruth has gained extensive community service experience in the Northern Beaches local area.

With a strong background ranging from on the ground delivery to senior management, Ruth’s work experience ranges from community organizations including youth education, aged and disability services, community development and strategic planning.

Over the years she has served on several Board and Community Committees supporting them to better serve their community.

Ruth is passionate about providing excellent outcomes for the community and is experienced in responsible, effective and transparent management of organizations including local and state government entities.

Ruth has extensive experience within the local government framework in a range of fields encompassing community service delivery, governance and community consultation. Her knowledge provides an excellent background and understanding of how to meet the challenges of working with council staff and the community to achieve the best outcomes.

As a mother to two, Nanny to 4 beautiful grandchildren, Ruth is an active Warriewood resident that loves to participate and watch sport. As a former passionate netballer, she is a strong advocate for women’s sport.

Ruth volunteers for The Link Church Community Care, is a Board Director for MWP Care and until recently volunteered with Women & Children First. She is a member of The Warriewood Residents Association and Residents Against Inappropriate Development – Ingleside (RAID)

A believer in grass roots democracy, Ruth feels privilege to be able to serve the Narrabeen Ward Community as she is passionate about providing excellent outcomes for the community for the generations to come.
