We are thrilled to welcome the community back to many of our facilities from Monday 11 October.

Conditions of Entry

As a condition of entry, in line with the NSW Government Health Order Division 5, Section 2.18  if you are 16 or over you are required to produce valid proof of your vaccination on entry and check in with a QR code. 

Wearing of masks for those over 12 will also be required.

From Monday 11 October, the following branches will partially reopen under a booking system, 10am-12pm and 2pm–4pm:

  • Manly – Monday and Tuesday
  • Dee Why - Tuesday and Thursday
  • Mona Vale – Wednesday and Friday

Avalon customer service branch remains closed at this time.

Libraries

All library branches (apart from community libraries) will open from Monday 11 October, Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm and Saturdays 10am - 1pm, with reduced capacity.

Library 2U will be replaced with a Click and Collect service.

Aquatic centres and gyms

Outdoor pools and areas at the Warringah and Manly Andrew Boy Charlton aquatic centres are currently open and from Monday 11 October, people 16 and over will need to be vaccinated to enter.

Indoor pools will also open from Monday 11 October but under restrictions just for swimming lessons, squad training, lap swimming, and rehab activities.

Manly Andrew Boy Charlton Gym and Fitness Centre will also reopen on 11 October for fully vaccinated, with bookings required for fitness classes.

Arts and Culture

Glen Street Theatre will reopen the Box Office on Monday 11 October with the theatre operating at 75% capacity.

Manly Art Gallery and Museum will open usual hours, Tuesday to Sunday, 10am – 5pm.

Community centres

Our community centres will reopen to existing hirers with limits on capacity to one person/4sqm.

The exception will be those using the community centres for physical recreational activity classes (such as yoga, dance, pilates and martial arts) which under the NSW Government Health Order are limited to a maximum of 20 participants per class. 

Environment Centres

The Coastal Environment Centre will reopen with reduced capacity from Monday 11 October. There will be additional displays and educators on hand to answer questions, as well as self-guided outside activities.

Manly Environment Centre will reopen from Monday 11 October. Check in via the Manly Library.
