The Eco-Schools Grants program encourages schools within our local government area to become more environmentally friendly by adopting initiatives to measurably reduce the schools carbon footprint and become a leader in sustainability and climate action.

Northern Beaches Council has established the program to support local schools on their sustainability journey.

2022/23 grant program

Applications for the 2022/23 grant program open 4 November 2022 - 17 February 2023.

2021/22 Winners

Council committed $10,000 to the 2021/22 program to fund initiatives partly or fully in the fields of bush regeneration, carbon reduction, waste reduction, water reuse and reduction as well as sustainability education.
